Objectives:
- News and detailing about Mozilla India Restructuring Meetup happened in Pune with total new structure
- Reactivation of club and restructuring of club as well
- Planning Roadmap of our club
- Clearing out all doubts regarding MinM and get suggestions.
On 21st September 2016 a BITFox Club Committee meeting was organized by Miten Kashiyani (CL).
We emphasized on guiding the club in new directions and restructuration of the club. We addressed in the presentation the new structure of the Mozilla India as well as the club to the newly added as well as the old Club Committee Members.
We kick started presentation with deeply talked and discussed about Mozilla as it concentrating towards the Unleash the next wave of openness and opportunity in online life - where people are empowered, safe and independent. We Discussed about major concentration area by Mozilla is Rust Language, Connected Device (IoT) and WebVR. To the new committee members, we have cleared about relevance of Mozilla India are Transparency, Participation, Communication and Accountability. Moving on, we discussed about Mozilla’s restructure proposal (Meta Team, Functional Team, Focus Team, Geographic Team) with fundamental principles and the Mozilla India meetup happened for that in the Pune. With clearing understanding and clearing doubts regarding that we moved on with the ‘Club Restructuring’ that aimed with reactivation of club with assigning roles to the committee members and totally reinvention of that. We have made the different teams for the different works and assigned facilitators for the different teams that will help running events successful with all the necessary things.
Basic Roles / Positions
Once we have done with club restructuring, we have planned roadmap of the club that includes what’s next and some updates regarding MakerParty Gujarat happening in October. We have ended the meeting with Q&A Session. And this way, the meeting went successful with enriching all the objectives made before event.
