Objective :
- Two guide the BITFox Club Members about the Functioning and structuring.
- Make the individual team alive with their work and mentored by Club Lead (Miten Kashiyani)
- Sharing Big Updates of Activate Mozilla and Campus Club

On the 13th of Dec 2016 we held a Execs meetup at Inorbit Mall. On this meetup very detailed analysis of how the overall functioning of the club will happen was given by our team leader Miten Kashiyani.Various aspects were covered as to restructuring of group and giving all individuals there personal particular roles . Special emphasis were made by team lead to get in touch with every individual and make them aware about what kinda stuff they will be doing.There was a discussions about how the club will move ahead and what activities are going to be performed under the club in the campus. Very cool and interesting ideas were given by everyone.

These activities were then discussed to be done when the college semester starts again so that more and more people are attracted towards the activity which is to be performed.In turn, Mozilla will get maximum exposure to every student that is interested in it.Then with there laptops the Mozillians started doing quick check of the activity .They were going through various articles on the internet.
The Computer guys were keen on RUST the programming language. I myself was been told as to how the blogs are to be written and what kind of sites provide that blog space. The Social Media guys were clicking pictures of all the discussion that were happening. And this way the meetup finished with groupie.                      

BITFox Execs Meet

Objectives:  
- News and detailing about Mozilla India Restructuring Meetup happened in Pune with total new structure
- Reactivation of club and restructuring of club as well
- Planning Roadmap of our club
- Clearing out all doubts regarding MinM and get suggestions.

On 21st September 2016 a BITFox Club Committee meeting was organized by Miten Kashiyani (CL).

We emphasized on guiding the club in new directions and restructuration of the club. We addressed in the presentation the new structure of the Mozilla India as well as the club to the newly added as well as the old Club Committee Members. 

We kick started presentation with deeply talked and discussed about Mozilla as it concentrating towards the Unleash the next wave of openness and opportunity in online life - where people are empowered, safe and independent. We Discussed about major concentration area by Mozilla is Rust Language, Connected Device (IoT) and WebVR. To the new committee members, we have cleared about relevance of Mozilla India are Transparency, Participation, Communication and Accountability. Moving on, we discussed about Mozilla’s restructure proposal (Meta Team, Functional Team, Focus Team, Geographic Team) with fundamental principles and the Mozilla India meetup happened for that in the Pune. With clearing understanding and clearing doubts regarding that we moved on with the ‘Club Restructuring’ that aimed with reactivation of club with assigning roles to the committee members and totally reinvention of that. We have made the different teams for the different works and assigned facilitators for the different teams that will help running events successful with all the necessary things.

Once we have done with club restructuring, we have planned roadmap of the club that includes what’s next and some updates regarding MakerParty Gujarat happening in October. We have ended the meeting with Q&A Session. And this way, the meeting went successful with enriching all the objectives made before event.

BITFox Club Launch

Hello everyone!

30^th of January was a success! And we have nobody to thank but you! Yes, we had an amazing response and have had responses and queries like we didn’t expected but we were prepared.

We expected a crowd of 100 people but we exceeded that, how great is it? And as of now, the BITFox Club is growing really fast and you can expect some amazing new events from us. But for those who missed it, here’s what happened that day!

The event kick-started with a pinch of our very own Indian traditions as we lit a lamp for Goddess Saraswati who is known to be the God of Knowledge, and proceeded with her blessings. The Principal of the college had a few beautiful words to say who were followed by our very own MozReps Ankit Mehta, Siddhartha Rao and the BITFox Club Leader Miten Kashiyani.

After this, the session started with an introduction of Mozilla and a lot of fun. The hosts of the event were fun enough to keep each and every student glued to their seats and encouraged enough to hear answers of almost every question. They distributed swag like anything, they had to! Some answers were spot on and brilliant. They knew so much about the Mozilla products and were already a part of the Open Source Society like Mozilla is. The hosts of the day appreciated their knowledge with giving out even more swag!

Piracy is an issue in today’s world and the hosts specially took time out and let us take a look at the Privacy Month, and their agenda!

Did you know: The animal in the Firefox Browser logo isn’t actually a Firefox, it’s a Chinese Red Panda.

After a while, they called it a lunch break as the students were really hungry but even after that they rushed onto them to know what’s next and had so many queries. Both Siddhatha and Ankit were flooded with students asking them questions and they cleared them all as the students left the Auditorium eager and encouraged to attend the second half of the session.

The second half of the session opened with happy and hungry faces, hungry for knowledge. The real deal was here, how could they contribute? Students had their eyes wide open, ears all stood up because they want to do. They heard everything about being a Mozillian in the first half and they were thrilled to hear about it and they had set their target, to be one of them.

They listened through it, all of it. The Reps gave us insights about everything we can do to contribute and it was simple. If you’re technically skilled, contribute and if you’re not, you can still contribute! Ankit and Siddhartha guided them with every Hows, Whats and Whos they had. They covered the following topics:

Technical-Non Technical, everybody can contribute? They all were excited and asked what next? There it was! BITFox Club, in their own college and that’s why it had opened, to contribute because we are here to make a difference and we are stronger if we are together!
